Chapter's fundraising initiative continues
On-going study of Nash County School System compliance with the NC Safe School Anti-Bullying legislation passed last year.
September 25, 2010:
Applebees pancake breakfast fundraiser. Applebees Restaurant, 301 N Rocky Mount, NC. 8:00AM - 10:00AM. $6.00.
Come join us for breakfast and fellowship or take out. Walk ins welcome.
Tentative: Plans to show the production 'For the Bible Tells Me So' in Rocky Mount, early 2011, are underway. Showing will be followed by a panel discussion. Community leaders, educators, church leaders and members are encouraged to attend.
NEWs
RockyMountPFLAG Chapter has been invited to set up a display at the Wilson County Library in Wilson, NC. As of now, funds have not come in to make this happen by the end of 2010. Funding is needed. Anyone wishing to donate money towards purchasing books for this event please contact the chapter (see chapter information).
Contributions may be sent anytime to the chapter's Rocky Mount P.O. Box per this website. All contributions are used to further the chapter's mission of promoting understanding through support, education and advocacy. If you are interested in supporting a specific event specify along with donation.
