Federal legislation is a critical component for schools to address LGBT students in a fair and respectful manner. There are three major pieces of legislation active in Congress this year:

Amendment to the Safe and Drug Free Schools and Communities Act

Responsible Education About Life (REAL) Act

Safe Schools (Anti-Bullying) Improvement Act
