From My Perspective: Migdalia Santiago
I was born in Puerto Rico and live in NYC for the past 20 years. I have two children, a girl 18 and a boy 25. My daughter is lesbian. I learned this when she was 13. I am Catholic and brought my children up in a Christian environment.

Nací en Puerto Rico y llevo veinte años viviendo en New York. Tengo dos hijos, una mujercita de dieciocho años y un varón de veinticinco. Mi hija es lesbiana y lo descubrí cuando ella tenía trece años. Siempre crié a mis hijos en un ambiente cristiano ya que soy católica.
