As a supporter of PFLAG, you enable us to continue and expand our work to keep families together, educate the public about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) persons, and advocate for equal rights and fair treatment for LGBT persons and their families.

By contributing to PFLAG through planned giving you provide us with the resources we need to ensure the long-term growth and development of our organization.

Various methods of planned giving can increase your current income and reduce your income, estate and capital gains obligations. For the strategy that best suits your personal situation, please consult your attorney and/or financial advisor.

 

Bequests

You can designate PFLAG as a beneficiary or secondary beneficiary of cash, property, securities or other assets in your will or trust. When you designate PFLAG as a beneficiary, please use our full name and include our address and Tax ID as follows:

Trusts

There are a variety of types of trusts with options as to the flow of income or annuities to you, PFLAG, or any other designee and the ownership of the principle asset, such as Charitable Remainder Trusts, Charitable Gift Annuities and Charitable Lead Trusts. Each type of trust has unique advantages and tax implications. Please consult your attorney or financial advisor for assistance in determine the best way to provide for yourself and your loved ones while supporting the important work of PFLAG.

 

Life Insurance

A low cost way to make a significant gift to PFLAG is by designating us as a primary or secondary beneficiary to a life insurance policy. You may also be eligible for tax deductions if PFLAG is designated as both the owner and beneficiary of the policy.
