2009 Straight for Equality Awards Gala

Launched in October 2007, Straight for Equality is a national outreach and education project created by PFLAG National to empower allies in supporting and advocating for LGBT people. The project invites, educates, and engages straight allies to move equality forward through a wide variety of actions.

In keeping with these goals, the Straight for Equality Gala aims to honor and celebrate some amazing straight allies. Their selfless support of the LGBT community truly embodies the spirit of Straight for Equality and PFLAG.  Our work could not continue without them, so we take time out each year to honor our straight allies!
