The PFLAG National 2011 LA Event was a huge success! An intimate gathering of supporters from the Los Angeles area came together at the beautiful home of Helena Krol for an evening of food and fun, all in honor of proud PFLAG mom Leila Lambert and her bold and talented son, singer Adam Lambert.
The event, co-chaired by Philip Krol and Ray Jennings-Roberson, was a success due in large part to the hard work of the host committee, the graciousness of our hostess, and of course the worthy honorees.
Guests mixed and mingled, enjoyed fantastic food and, most important, heard Leila and Adam speak eloquently about why the PFLAG mission of support, education and advocacy is so important to them personally.
Each was presented with an award--and inverted triangle for Adam, a heart for Leila--which each make up a part of the PFLAG logo representing parental and familial love and support for LGBT people.
